Oologah 7-21-11
Dad and I decided to try out our new green light set up and
beat the heat night fishing for crappie. Bite was good right after dark for
about 45 minutes and then the wind picked up from the east. Crappie shut off or
moved completely and the small blues and sand bass moved in. We were fishing
brush on a drop from 17-26 ft deep. The crappie were caught about 7 ft down and
the rest were on the edge of the thermocline at 12ish. It was a nice night and
it was good to relax catching tonights dinner with my dad.
